Olivia Barton is a singer-songwriter from Orlando, Florida, whose indie folk rock songs recall the honesty of Phoebe Bridgers and the layered harmonies of the Staves. With a clear, unaffected voice set against brooding guitars, Barton writes about the things she never planned to share out loud—queer love, family, heartbreak, anxiety, and the messy beauty of growing up.
Her third album, For Myself and For You, coproduced by Pinegrove’s Sam Skinner, strips away any pretense to reveal songwriting at its most direct. Barton has toured North America with artists like Lizzy McAlpine and Madi Diaz, cowriting songs for both, and continues to captivate audiences with performances that balance delicacy and raw power.
Raised on the outskirts of a Texas city and now living in New England, Grace Gardner is pushing the boundaries of the singer-songwriter genre. Their music draws from ’70s and ’80s rock, the folk roots of their Southern upbringing, the sounds of New Orleans—where they studied neuroscience—and the lyric-forward storytelling they return to most.
Producing all their own music allows Gardner to maintain an intimate, authentic touch. Their writing is evocative and emotional, reflecting on relationships, recovery, and identity over thoughtful guitar work and intricate production. Their influences include 1970s icons like Carole King, Stevie Nicks, Labi Siffre, and Joan Baez.
As Gardner has honed their sound at the intersection of soft rock, indie, and folk, they’ve also drawn inspiration from Madison Cunningham, Adrianne Lenker, Andy Shauf, and Madi Diaz. A multi-instrumentalist who plays ten instruments, they incorporate orchestral, brass, percussive, and software-based elements into their work. They are also a producer and arranger. Their debut EP, Peach, arrived in March 2023 with the viral single “Deny Me.”
Gardner has toured with artists such as Adam Melchor, Frances Forever, and Tiny Habits. They launched their first headline tour in early 2025. Their sophomore EP, Recovery Mile, was released in February 2024, followed by their third project, After Knowing, at the end of 2024.
