La Sécurité is a collective whose art-punk sound blends jumpy beats, off-kilter arrangements, and minimalistic melodic hooks. Their music thrives on living dangerously—perfect for blasting on dance floors—while their lyrics channel the ethos of the Riot Grrrl movement, celebrating women’s autonomy, friendships (both mean and nice), and benevolence.

These five scattered yet creatively unified artists also unleash a wide arsenal of DIY creations: music videos, visuals, screen prints, patented dance moves, and more. Their debut album, Stay Safe! (2023 via Mothland), delivers empowering songs full of urgency, tinged with a dash of melancholia. Bill Pearis of BrooklynVegan described the album as “an enticing batch of party-friendly jams shouted in sneering Franglais that recall everything from Le Tigre to Neu! to Kleenex/LiLiPUT (and also Montreal’s Duchess Says).”

As they gear up for US tour dates in winter 2025, La Sécurité returns with their second single on British imprint Bella Union: the fiery French scorcher “Ketchup”, also available in North America via boutique label Mothland.

Warmachine is a Boston-based band founded in 2023 by longtime collaborators Lex Pappas and Brendan Fullerton. With the addition of bassist X. Niskey, their turbulent brand of guitar psychosis falls somewhere between shoegaze, post-hardcore, noise—or just plain ear-splitting (in the best way). Fueled by a love of DIY and a near-religious devotion to volume, Warmachine attacks their instruments like there’s personal beef boiling over, kicking up a racket that’s as bracingly intense as it is beautiful.
