We are pleased to announce the dates for our 2026 Family Weekend, which will be held from Friday, October 23, through Sunday, October 25, 2026. For any questions related to Family Weekend, email us at families@berklee.edu.

Family Weekend Webinar

Join the Berklee Family Support Team for a live Zoom preview to help you prepare for an unforgettable Family Weekend. We will walk through the schedule at a glance, highlighting campus events, academic panels, and student showcases running Friday through Sunday. You will also learn about tickets to curated off-campus events and built-in opportunities to explore Boston alongside your student. The session will conclude with a live Q&A to answer all your event and planning questions.

Schedule Overview

Events will begin on Friday morning and wrap up late afternoon on Sunday. Families who join us can expect a fun-filled weekend, including:

Mock classes to get a sense of the student academic experience
Performances, including our student Club Showcase, which will include a selection of our 120-plus student clubs
Receptions and opportunities to hear from senior leadership at Berklee
Fall-themed events and family photo opportunities
Ticketed experiences to sightsee and visit landmarks in the Boston area

9 a.m.–5 p.m.: Check In & Welcome Center

10 a.m.–12 p.m.: Family Meet & Greet with Icebreakers

12:30–1:30 p.m.: Fenway Park Tour

1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., & 4 p.m.: Mock Classes

1–2 p.m.: Faculty Panel

2–4 p.m: Campus Partner Open House

2:30–3:30 p.m.: Fenway Park Tour

4–6: p.m.: Open Mic

5–7 p.m.: Family Reception

Saturday, October 24

9–10:30 a.m.: Berklee Bridge Breakfast

11 a.m.–12 p.m.: Walking Tour of Back Bay

Sunday, October 25

10:30 a.m–12 p.m.: Brunch and Bingo

1–4 p.m.: Tailgate Watch Party

Family Weekend Philosophy

Family Weekend is an opportunity to spend quality time with your student and experience a little more of their Berklee life. While we’ll have a variety of programs and activities happening, you don’t need to participate in everything! We encourage families to use the weekend in whatever way feels most meaningful to you and your student. Join us for campus programs, explore Boston together, enjoy a meal at a favorite restaurant, see a show, take an excursion, or simply spend time together.

We’ll offer a variety of on-campus activities and ticketed events and excursions that you can choose from throughout the weekend. These are opportunities to complement your time together—not a schedule you need to follow. Whether you fill your weekend with activities or keep things simple, we hope Family Weekend gives you the opportunity to connect and experience Boston and Berklee together.
