Slideshow: Equinox Music Festival

Catch a few glimpses of the Equinox Music Festival, an event at Berklee and The Boston Conservatory showcasing the improvisational possibilities of classical music.

April 28, 2016

Cosponsored by Berklee and The Boston Conservatory, last month's Equinox Music Festival featured concerts, panels, and workshops designed to demonstrate and explore the vitality of classical music and its connection to the power and potential of improvisation.

Sessions during the day ranged from workshops on film scoring and microtonality to a panel discussion on life as a career musician. The eclectic evening Concert for the Moon featured two duos, two trios, and The Boston Conservatory Contemporary Ensemble.
