Zara is an Armenian-Canadian jazz and folk singer-songwriter who blends introspective storytelling with rich harmonies and experimental textures. Influenced by artists such as Maro, Madison Cunningham, and Lianne La Havas, she brings a fresh and thoughtful voice to her genre. Now a senior at Berklee College of Music, Zara first gained wider recognition as a participant on the popular French-Canadian TV show Star Académie in 2021. Set to release her debut album in 2025, Zara’s music explores themes of vulnerability, self-discovery, and emotional depth. With a growing presence across the US and Canada, she has already captivated audiences from Montreal to Los Angeles.
