For over a decade, through several iterations and releases, Chennai, India-based four-piece the F16s have been steadily refining their vision. From their 2013 debut, Kaleidoscope, and 2014’s Nobody’s Gonna Wait, to 2016’s full-length breakthrough, Triggerpunkte, 2019’s ode to companionship, WKND FRNDS, and 2021’s searing Is It Time to Eat the Rich, Yet?, their vision has grown in maturity and gravity—as evidenced by thirty million Spotify streams and coverage in Pitchfork, Stereogum, BrooklynVegan, and Variety.
A fixture on the festival circuit, the band played the inaugural Lollapalooza Mumbai in 2023 alongside personal heroes the Strokes, as well as Bandlands Music Festival with Amyl and the Sniffers and the War on Drugs, and Baybeats Singapore with Otoboke Beaver. Their sold-out Rock n Roll Is Dead Tour of India cemented the band’s place as a once-in-a-lifetime live powerhouse.
Selective in process, calculated in execution, and blessed with the solitude of the hills, the F16s are pleased to present their second full-length album, All Dogs Go to Heaven. The ten tracks, shaped by personal growth and kinship, explore the uncomplicated ways people can exist alongside one another. It’s the sound of a band still moving, still shedding, still becoming.
