Sterlyn Termine is a Haitian-American electric bassist, pianist, composer, and producer from Brockton, Massachusetts. She is currently the bassist for Grammy award-winner Alessia Cara and is playing on her world tour for Love & Hyperbole. Termine recently completed a two-year national tour with the Tony award-winning Broadway musical Six, and also made history as one of the few women to play electric bass for legendary Haitian jazz bands such as Disip, Ekip, and Vayb. She has worked with artists like Grammy-winning R&B singer Brent Faiyaz. She has also served as musical director, composer, and performer for independent artists in the Washington, D.C., New York City, and Boston areas, while also teaching and inspiring the next generation of musicians. Furthermore, Termine is the founder of BlackGirlMusic, a digital platform passionate about elevating and recognizing Black women in music.
