Radio Paila / Taller Than Trees / AM Dandy
Radio Paila is a Spanish grunge band heavily influenced by Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine, and Nirvana. Its music carries a social critique packed with satirical remarks against mundanity and the constant struggle between the ego and self. The four-piece band is composed of Godi Gaviria (Colombia) on guitar/vocals, Ramiro Marziani (Argentina) on lead guitar, Felipe Aranha (Brazil) on drums, and Simon Fagerstedt (Sweden) on bass.
Formed at Berklee College of Music, Taller Than Trees is an alternative pop/rock band composed of all Latin members. It performs original music and covers in English and Spanish. The band includes Mike Soto (Mexico) on lead vocals/keyboards, Maximo Abraham (Argentina) on guitar, Hugo Avendaño (Chile) on drums, and Alan Miles (Mexico) on bass.
Alessandro "AM Dandy" Meynardi is an Italian guitarist and composer who attends Berklee College of Music. He was born in Mondovì, a small village in northwest Italy. Meynardi picked up his first guitar at age 9, after trying piano and cello, starting his music instruction at the Conservatory "Ghedini" (Cuneo) and the Academy of Modern Music in Turin a few years later. Meynardi has had notable mentors, including Mick Goodrick, Daniele Gottardo, Gianluca Ferro, and Marco Roagna. He is influenced by artists such as Steve Vai, Frank Zappa, Pat Metheny, and Guthrie Govan.
