Okey Dokey is the product of the natural reformation that occurs when musicians part ways.

Fronted by visual artist Aaron Martin and the Weeks’ guitarist Johny Fisher, former bandmates, the band revisited creating music together in Fisher’s small cabin about 20 miles outside of Nashville, Tennessee. The result? A well-blended mix of everything the group loves about classic Motown, combined with a dash of psychedelic storytelling roots.

With a touring band that includes a revolving group of musicians from bands such as Wild Child, the Weeks, Morning Teleportation, Ron Gallo, and Sol Cat, Okey Dokey’s upcoming debut album, Love You, Mean It, has a bit of treasure for every listener.

Paper Citizen is a Boston-based indie rock project led by Claire Gohst, a Singaporean singer-songwriter, violinist, guitarist, and music producer.

Paper Citizen’s second EP, Distraction, is inspired by Gohst’s experiences over the past five years, such as learning the difference between Eastern and Western cultures, discovering new music, falling in love, heartbreak, and loneliness. In addition to being very personal, Distraction reflects on the impact of modern technology on our lives, moving between a deep sense of isolation and constant interconnectedness.
