Nicolás Emden '16 is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and conductor from Osorno, Chile. His first solo album, Como los Pájaros, was released in 2014. This album produced the single "Solo Tengo Ojos para Ti" and the indie documentary Como los Pájaros X Chile.
From South America to the United States and Canada, Emden has been involved in diverse artistic projects, all of which have affected his music. Como los Pájaros X Chile was the result of years of collective projects that spanned folk, rock, classic, contemporary music theater, and his education at Berklee College of Music. This diversity of culture, music, people, and styles sharpened his project to have a primary focus of connecting people from around the world with the universal language of music.
"In a separated world like ours, music is a language that can join us back together, forgetting our differences and remembering our similarities," Emden says.
