“Another Life” is the first single from Patience, Mogli’s upcoming EP. The five-song collection, to be released on March 22, highlights a bold period of transition for the German singer-songwriter and filmmaker.

Mogli gained international attention in 2017 with the global Netflix release of her documentary Expedition Happiness and her intimate soundtrack Wanderer. While the film sold more than 150,000 tickets and Wanderer cracked the top 40 in Europe, Mogli went through an unexpected period of upheaval and transition. On Patience, she begins to tell those stories and look toward what’s next.

Born in Cologne, Germany, to a Korean mother and German father—both of whom are opera singers—Josin grew up in a household with music at its center. Her 2017 EP, Epilogue, was a soaring, moving introduction: a strikingly original fusion of neo-classical textures and inquisitive electronics. In the Blank Space, an album released in January 2019, takes this conversation further with its broad but stunningly concise exposition of supple strings, textured vocals, and digital excursions.
