Hey Rim Jeon, pianist, composer, and associate professor in the Piano Department at Berklee College of Music, presents a solo piano concert.

Hey Rim, who teaches the course Solo Piano Improvisations of Keith Jarrett, regularly performs her own style of piano improvisation. In this performance, she will play her improvisations, as well as original compositions and arrangements of jazz standards.

Hey Rim has released four albums as a leader. Her album Mona Lisa Puzzle, described as an “intense, intelligent statement” by JazzTimes, won best jazz album at the 2009 New England Urban Music Awards. Described as a “brilliant pianist” by legendary saxophonist Benny Golson, Hey Rim has been featured on NBC’s Weekend Today and KBN, Korea’s national television network.
