With Middle Eastern MicroJamz, David Fiuczynski and Utar Artun are bringing ancient musical traditions to life with a neo-cosmopolitan approach. In collaboration with diverse musicians from all around the world, Middle Eastern MicroJamz is a global music project that aims to engage multicultural audiences in the United States and abroad.
By creating music that isn't easily defined by existing stylistic categorizations, composers Artun and Fiuczynski believe it will inspire people around the world to break down musical hierarchies based on nationality, class, and ethnicity, and increase creative freedom.
