Latin Grammy–nominated accordionist and singer-songwriter Gregorio Uribe '07 celebrates the release of his book El Llamado (Abisinia Editorial) in combination with songs from his third album Hombre Absurdo. Uribe combines rhythms of Colombia's Caribbean with ideas of existential authors such as Nietzche and Camus resulting in a music that is both vibrant and deep. He has now put his appetite for storytelling into a 152-page narrative where a New York musician explores the darkest corners of his soul while searching for the "perfect" place for his discreet objective.
