Fresh Prospects: Davin Kingston / Adam Liebman / Laufey Lin
Fresh Prospects is a monthly concert series featuring some of Berklee College of Music’s finest musicians. This April, we’re excited to present three talented artists.
Davin Kingston, a songwriter and producer from Clermont, Florida, has been producing and writing since he was 14. Currently studying music production and engineering at the college, he has developed his career as an artist, most notably with the song “Can This Morning Never End,” which has amassed more than 120,000 streams on Spotify.
Adam Liebman, a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Detroit, Michigan, is studying guitar performance and contemporary writing and production. Influenced by several genres, he creates music nestled in pockets of pop and R&B–inspired grooves, with melodies influenced by jazz, blues, rock, and funk.
Laufey Lin, an Icelandic Chinese singer-songwriter and cellist, is a recipient of the college’s Presidential Scholarship. She made her solo debut as a cellist with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra at age 15. In addition to classical music, Lin has developed a passion for singing, taking special interest in jazz and the Great American Songbook. Recently, she has shifted her focus toward songwriting.
