Dom Jones is an artist, singer-songwriter, MC, poet, author, orator, and vocal producer from Oakland, California. She released her mixtape Champion in December 2010 and Boss Patois, her first book of poetry, in August 2013.
She has performed with Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Goapele, Dead Prez, and even President Barack Obama. After releasing her album Wingspan in 2014, Jones won the International Songwriting Competition with "The Morning after He," a song from that album.
