Sound Design and Mixing for Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio with Scott Gershin
Scott Gershin is an award-winning sound designer who has been active in the film and gaming communities for over two decades. With films such as Pacific Rim, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, The Chronicles of Riddick, Team America: World Police, Shrek, Star Trek, and American Beauty, as well as major games including the Gears of War series, Epic Mickey, and the Resident Evil and Fable series, he has garnered an impressive number of awards and nominations. Gershin is the creative and managing director for the Sound Lab at Keywords Studios. One of his most recent sound design projects is Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio, which has earned numerous accolades, including Best Motion Picture- Animated at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards. Gershin will be talking about his experience working on Pinnochio sound design and mixing.
