Applying to the Electronic Production and Design Major
Note: The following information is for currently enrolled Berklee students who wish to declare Electronic Production and Design (EPD) as their major. This is not the portal for applying for entry to the college. To apply to the college, please see the Admissions section.
All students enter Berklee with no major, as there is no advance enrollment process for any major. Students apply to a major only after they have begun their studies at Berklee.
Application to the EPD major should be made during the fall semester for admission to the major for the following spring semester, or during the spring semester for admission to the major in the following summer or fall semester. All applications and supporting materials must be submitted to the EPD office via the online application portal, which can only be accessed by enrolled students.
The EPD Application Portal (for Berklee students only) is open from Tuesday, January 23, 2024, until Monday, February 26, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. ET. Please submit your application before this deadline. There is no access to the application portal outside of this period.
Applicants must submit an essay as well as two media files of their best work when applying, and then be interviewed by EPD faculty before the EPD Department decides on acceptance into the major.
