Description

This course offers 30 minute private lessons in composing solo and chamber works (that may include voice) that meet the requirements for the Composition Major Portfolio. Emphasis on developing individual creativity in contemporary musical styles and on gaining experience in writing for various musical textures and ensemble combinations. Additional attendance at the weekly Directed Study Seminar is required.
