Vin Ciampolillo

Director, Community Standards and Conflict Resolution

Vin J. Ciampolillo is the Director of Community Standards and Conflict Resolution. In this role, he supports the Berklee

community through student conduct processes, conflict resolution, and alternative resolution approaches. He works with students and community members to navigate challenging situations, foster accountability, and promote opportunities for learning and growth.

Prior to joining Berklee, Vin served as the Associate Director of Investigations and Alternative Resolutions and Deputy Title IX Coordinator at Bentley University, where he investigated complaints involving institutional equity and Title IX and developed and facilitated alternative resolution processes.

Vin has served as a faculty member for the Association for Student Conduct Administration's Gehring Academy and as a mediator and conflict coach through community dispute resolution centers in Massachusetts and New York.

Colleen Todd

Associate Director for Community Standards and Conflict Resolution

Colleen Todd is the Associate Director for Community Standards and Conflict Resolution. In this role, she supports the community through engaging with students in developmental conversations, upholding accountability of the Student Code of Community Standards, and serving as a resource to students.

She previously served as the Assistant Director for Community Standards at Emerson College in Boston. Prior to that role, she served as a Resident Director at Berklee College of Music. She obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in international business from Hofstra University in Long Island, New York, and a Master of Arts in international higher education from Boston College. Additionally, she is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at Merrimack College.

Conduct Officers

The Office of Community Standards and Conflict Resolution trains staff from around campus to serve as conduct officers. The role of a conduct officer is to evaluate reports of potential policy violations of the Student Code of Community Standards and facilitate a fair and impartial process to determine a resolution. Our roster of trained conduct officers includes, but is not limited to, the following staff members:
