The Red Room at Cafe 939 proudly presents Fresh Prospects, a free concert series spotlighting emerging artists. Curated by Berklee students with an ear for talent, this series offers an intimate glimpse into the music scene’s future, featuring local performers making waves and capturing attention.

Renee Christine moves through the world as an observer. The Americana singer-songwriter and cellist spins tales of misfortune, resilience, and Appalachian lore over impassioned string arrangements, finger-picked guitar, and percussion. Farayi Malek opens the evening.

The Berklee Songwriting Department presents an evening of hip-hop, highlighting the varied styles of this genre through performances by current students. This event is hosted by Berklee songwriting professors Cliff Notez and Dan Cantor.

Come celebrate Pride Week at Cafe 939. Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA) and the Berklee Theater Arts Collaborative (BTAC) are cosponsoring the fifth annual LGBTQIA+ singer-songwriter concert in celebration of Pride Week.
