How to Get Involved
Apply to join Berklee's Student Government Association (SGA) and represent the student voice for the school year 2018–2019. Elected officials will serve for the entirety of the school year as the link between students and the administration.
A ballot will consist of candidates' responses so that the student body can vote for the students they want serving in student government. Any student is eligible to run for a major/division representative seat; however, the executive board positions require leadership experience either as a previous student government member, orientation leader, resident sssistant, or SAMS student. Students should additionally submit one letter of recommendation from a Berklee advisor, faculty, or staff member (two letters of recommendation are needed if applying for the executive board).
The application is due by March 21, and the ballot will be distributed to the student community on March 26 after spring break. Elected officials will begin with the SGA in April. We look forward to having you join us!
