The Planet MicroJam Institute presents the Grammy Award–winning bassist MonoNeon performing original music and microtonal compositions with Berklee students and directed by David Fiuczynski.

MonoNeon is a bass virtuoso, singer, and songwriter from Memphis, Tennessee, known for his imaginative approach to composition and improvisation. He was one of the last musicians to work with Prince and received a Grammy Award for his contributions to Nas's 2020 album King's Disease. In 2022, Fender released the MonoNeon Jazz Bass V as part of the MonoNeon Capsule Collection.

Throughout his career, MonoNeon has collaborated with artists including Mavis Staples, George Clinton, Pete Rock, Ne-Yo, Mac Miller, Georgia Anne Muldrow, and Ghost-Note, and has appeared at festivals such as the Newport Jazz Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, and Melbourne International Jazz Festival. This performance highlights his original music and explores microtonal composition through collaboration with Berklee students.
