New Standards Jam Session
After the success of the Boston Takeover New Standards Jam Session this summer at Wally's Jazz Club, the Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice is launching a continuation of these jams throughout the year! This next installment will be Wednesday, October 18, with two sets at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., and will be hosted by JGJ founder Terri Lyne Carrington.
All musicians are welcome at this event! As usual, all the music performed will be from New Standards: 101 Lead Sheets by Women Composers. Lead sheets of the tunes can be found at this link.
