Sylvie Leys's music has many sides, from long composed pieces to very short tunes with a lot of improvisation. Her music is inspired by her life, her stories, and feelings, and also from the natural elements. She will be playing tenor and soprano saxophones with only a rhythm section, creating a very raw trio sound, and adding on some tunes and another bass as counterpoint to her deep tone.
