Rooted in Unity is a dynamic, fully-staged, student-directed revue that uplifts and celebrates underrepresented voices within Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s Theater Division. Featuring a vibrant blend of music and dance, the evening bridges past and present—reimagining Golden Age musical theater through a contemporary lens while also highlighting the diverse future of new and contemporary works. From the rhythmic storytelling of Lin-Manuel Miranda to bold reinterpretations of Sondheim classics, Rooted in Unity honors theatrical tradition while making space for voices and stories that have too often been left unheard.
