Through live demonstrations, student and faculty participation, and open discussion, Barrios will offer a deep look into his creative process, rhythmic vocabulary, and harmonic approach, illustrating how tradition and innovation can merge to shape a distinctive musical voice.

Pianist and composer Andrés Barrios, recently nominated for the 2025 Latin Grammy Awards, will perform alongside acclaimed flamenco dancer Nino de los Reyes in a special event that brings their artistry together on one stage. This performance blends flamenco, jazz, and contemporary music, creating a vibrant dialogue between piano and dance that showcases both tradition and innovation.

This event is presented in collaboration with Festival Paco de Lucía Mallorca, which has the institutional support of the Paco de Lucía Foundation, together with Berklee Global, and is part of the Festival Paco de Lucía Mallorca Young Talents Scholarship initiative.
