Students will leave with a greater knowledge about career center resources and their career journeys.

The Black Scholars Initiative, now in its seventh year, is excited to be holding its annual Spring Gala. This event marks the end of another successful year of programming and engagement. This event will be RSVP only.
Berklee's Black Scholars Initiative will be holding its annual Spring Gala on April 21. BSI previously held its Spring Gala in April of 2019. Due to the pandemic, this celebration has not taken place since!
We are so excited to bring this event back and celebrate our program and what lies at its core: community
The Spring Gala is a chance for the BSI Community, which is comprised of students, mentors, and the BSI leadership team, to come together and celebrate the school year.
Come meet your peers, faculty, and staff in the Black community at Berklee! This informal social hour is built for entering students who participated in pre-orientation and those who did not who are interested in joining BSI to connect with their community.
The Office of Identity-Based Programs, home of the Black Scholars Initiative and SOMOS Latinx programs present an afternoon of unplugged performances. Students from both programs will perform pieces acoustically or with minimal accompaniment. Performers will have the opportunity to sign up prior to the event by completing a Google form shared by their respective programs.
Join the Black Scholars Initiative and SOMOS Latinx for a night full of spooks and frights! Registered BSI and SOMOS students will enjoy a Halloween-themed movie on campus with provided refreshments.
The Black Scholars Initiative at Berklee will host a dinner on November 15th for BSI students, faculty, and staff to gather in community ahead of the Thanksgiving break. Featuring soul food, joy, and music, it is sure to be a wonderful time.
