Supermarket Parking Lot is the brainchild of singer-songwriter Marco Tewlow and has been taking the greater Boston area by storm with their one-of-a-kind brand of 90s-tinged alternative rock fused with a prog edge. Never content to have just a single sound, Tewlow's compositions effortlessly run the gamut from theatrical to mechanical, from cynical to sincere, and from aggressive to transcendent. Between their explosive debut single “Normal Person,” their fiery follow-up singles “Falling From a String” and "In Creative Desperation, Nothing Is Ever Straightforward When It Should Be," and their ever-expansive and actively growing collection of Much Requested Bootleg live compilations, Supermarket Parking Lot continue to set themselves apart both live and in-studio, offering audiences a rich, textured sound. Improvisation and complexity are woven into the fabric of the music.
