Berklee Community Values Art Contest

Students of all levels and abilities who are currently enrolled at Berklee College of Music and Boston Conservatory at Berklee may enter artwork in the third annual Berklee Community Values Art Contest.

This year’s theme is Overcoming Conflict and Finding Connections. How do your talents help you overcome conflicts and make connections in the Berklee community? What role do art and creativity play in conflict management?

Submission Instructions

Deliver your submission to the Office of Community Standards and Conflict Resolution at 150 Massachusetts Avenue, room 351. Your submission must include your name, year, school email address, the medium of the artwork, the title of the piece, and an artist statement that includes a description of what your artwork represents. All art must be original to the artist. Art may be in two- or three-dimensional format, but should be able to be displayed on a wall. Digital submissions will not be accepted.

Deadline and Details

The deadline for submissions is Friday, November 15, 2019. Three winners will be selected and notified via email.

  • First place: $300*
  • Second place: $200*
  • Third place: $100*

Selected works of art will be displayed on campus during the spring 2020 term. Entries will be judged on creativity and how well they represent the theme.

Note: The Office of Community Standards and Conflict Resolution is not responsible for lost or damaged artwork. Submitted artwork will not be returned.
