Songs for Social Change (S4SC)
This contest encourages Berklee students to write new songs expressing deeply felt convictions about social issues of concern to them. The goal and purpose of the song should be to promote positive social change. There is no restriction on theme, perspective, or musical style.
We aspire to honor diversity in all aspects of this contest. The contest is adjudicated by faculty and hosted by Mark Simos, Dan Cantor, and Joe Bennett. Prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners followed by a showcase concert featuring the winning songs.
