Berklee Valencia’s Company Spotlight Continues to Expand Global Industry Connections for Students

With more than 30 companies participating, Berklee Valencia’s Company Spotlight continues to strengthen pathways between students and the global music industry.

Berklee Valencia’s Company Spotlight returned on May 21, 2026, bringing together more than 30 leading organizations from across the global music and creative industries.

Organized by Berklee Valencia’s International Career Center (ICC), this virtual event offered students a unique opportunity to connect directly with industry professionals, gain insight into evolving career paths, and explore current job and internship opportunities according to their skills, reinforcing Berklee Valencia’s role as a hub for industry-ready professionals.

Participating Companies and Industry Representation

This year’s participants included a diverse range of companies spanning music production, publishing, technology, live events, and creative services. Among them were Trafalgar13, Concord, MassiveMusic, Sizzer, Spitfire Audio, Splice, Warner’s the Music Station, AWAL, Columbia Records, Stellar Music Group, Butter Music, the Orchard, Bleeding Fingers, and Pressure Cooker Studios, alongside emerging platforms and independent organizations, such as MAIA Universe.

The event highlighted the breadth of opportunities available to students across the industry. A reported 73 percent of the participating companies shared active job or internship opportunities across more than ten countries around the world. An additional four organizations accepted résumés for future openings for composer rosters, bringing the total number of companies recruiting or collecting applications to 28.

Collectively, participating organizations were offering approximately 110 specific opportunities at the time of the event, sharing direct application links, QR codes, or recruitment contacts with students.

Student Engagement and Networking Opportunities

Across three sessions, students attended company presentations outlining each organization’s mission, business model, and hiring practices. Breakout rooms provided space for more focused conversations, allowing students to engage directly with recruiters and team members in a more informal setting.

The event reflects the ICC’s ongoing commitment to connecting Berklee students with real-world opportunities and industry networks. By facilitating direct access to hiring organizations, Company Spotlight helps students build the relationships and professional awareness needed to navigate the global, interdisciplinary music landscape.

The impact of these conversations was evident in the feedback from participating companies. James Mathes of Pressure Cooker Studios praised both the organization of the event and the quality of student engagement, noting: “Great connections. It felt very well run, and I felt engaged constantly by good people with great questions and curiosity about the industry and how the real world of the industry works.”

Preparing Students for the Future of the Industry

As the music industry continues to evolve, initiatives like this play a critical role in bridging education and employment. By creating these meaningful interactions between students and companies, Berklee Valencia ensures that its graduates are not only prepared for the future of the music industry, but are already building the professional relationships that launch their careers.
