Berklee Valencia Named to Billboard’s Top Music Business Schools List for Sixth Year

Berklee Valencia has once again been recognized by Billboard as one of the best music business schools in the world, marking the sixth time that the campus has appeared on the publication’s list.

In its 2026 list of the top music business schools, Billboard recognized Berklee Valencia’s Master of Arts in Global Entertainment and Music Business program, highlighting its hands-on approach, location, and global perspective. Based in Spain, the program gives students the opportunity to explore key music markets across Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa, through guest speakers and industry engagement. Students can also customize their studies through electives aligned with their individual career goals.

The program also prepares students to navigate emerging technologies shaping the music industry. Through MB-665 The Culture and Business of Emerging Technologies and New Creative Frontiers, students critically examine technologies such as artificial intelligence, developing the skills needed to become future-ready music industry professionals while engaging with the ethical, legal, cultural, and labor questions surrounding their use.

Throughout the academic year, Global Entertainment and Music Business students have the chance to learn directly from leading professionals working across the industry. They also participate in Berklee Valencia’s Global Career Summit. This five-day annual event features keynotes, panels, and mentoring opportunities with international experts across music business, production, and songwriting.

A separate entry on the list for Berklee College of Music features two undergraduate programs—the BM in Music Business/Management and the BA in Music Industry Leadership and Innovation—as well as BPMI Live, the flagship program of the Berklee Popular Music Institute.

Schools appearing on Billboard’s 2026 list were selected based on executive recommendations, alumni information provided by honorees from Billboard’s multiple power lists, information requested from each school, and a decade of reporting on these programs—building on the publication’s reporting and industry knowledge of leading music business programs.

In addition to the Global Entertainment and Music Business program, Berklee Valencia offers unique training opportunities in the fields of contemporary performance; music production, technology, and innovation; and scoring for film, television, and video games, as well as study abroad opportunities for undergraduate students and summer programs. The International Career Center on campus offers a wide range of internships and job opportunities within the industry, along with guidance to help students achieve their career goals.
