About Us
The Office of Physical Plant plays a key role in maintaining the functionality and appearance of Berklee’s facilities and grounds. We provide essential services that support the campus’s daily operations and long-term upkeep. These include housekeeping, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC maintenance, snow removal, and year-round grounds care. Our goal is to ensure a safe, comfortable, and inviting campus for the Berklee community.
Hours of Operation
Physical Plant Office
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
For after-hours assistance, please contact Public Safety at 617-747-2682
Maintenance Services
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Maintenance is on call outside of their service hours
Custodial Services
Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. (23 hours)
Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Examples of Emergency Requests:
- Water or plumbing systems leaks and overflows
- Fire alarms sounding
- Carbon monoxide detector alerts
- Power outages
- Noxious odors, such as gas
- Door alarms or doors not locking
