Berklee Crowdfunding
Berklee Crowdfunding empowers campus partners—including departments, programs, institutes, and student clubs—to fundraise for specific projects. Through our dedicated platform, teams can launch and promote time-bound campaigns to fuel their own success.
How Crowdfunding Works
Crowdfunding pools small donations from many supporters via digital channels. Through Berklee Crowdfunding, partners can showcase their initiatives, share their stories, and directly engage our global community.

Hosting a Crowdfunding Campaign
If you are a Berklee faculty member, staff member, or student club representative looking to launch a campaign, here is what you need to know:
What kinds of projects can be submitted?
Officially recognized departments, programs, institutes, and student clubs may submit projects. Raised funds must benefit a team initiative, program, or department, and must be deposited into an existing gift fund.
Who can submit a project?
Faculty, staff, and current students can submit applications on behalf of an eligible group. Student submissions require backing from a faculty member or an officially recognized student organization.
How do I submit a project?
Complete our application form to apply. We recommend reviewing the crowdfunding overview first to understand project responsibilities and the support our team provides.
How are projects selected?
The Annual Giving team reviews all submissions for alignment with Berklee’s mission and crowdfunding criteria. We reserve the right to decline submissions or discontinue active campaigns if necessary. All page content requires team approval prior to launch and may be edited for compliance.
How are project goals determined?
Financial targets, donor goals, and campaign durations are set on a case-by-case basis. Most successful campaigns run for two to five weeks and raise between $500 and $5,000. All funds raised must go directly to the stated project purpose.
