Student Emergency Fund

The Student Emergency Fund serves as a crucial safety net, providing timely financial support to help students navigate personal obstacles and stay focused on reaching their fullest potential as artists and students. Students may access emergency funding once approved by Student Support Services.

Examples of student emergencies include:

  • Sudden, unexpected loss of housing
  • Unsafe housing or living situation
  • Travel expenses due to illness or death in the immediate family
  • Theft of personal belongings (laptop, clothing, instrument)
  • Medical/dental emergencies not covered by insurance
  • Unexpected damage to the student’s instrument
