Berklee City Music Network Summit 2026 (BCMN)

2026 Berklee City Music Network Summit: Reflection and Rejuvenation

The Berklee City Music Network Summit returns to Boston, Massachusetts, on August 1–4, 2026, bringing together network students, teaching artists, and administrators for four days of learning, exchange, and collective leadership.

This year’s theme, Grounded Through Connection: From Local Roots to Shared Practice, invites us to honor the network’s legacy while strengthening the relationships and shared practices that carry our work forward.

Produced by a student-centered design team comprising Berklee City Music Network (BCMN) representatives led by Juan Diaz of LIVE! School of Music, the summit will elevate youth agency, deepen collaboration across sites, and make space for honest dialogue—so we can reflect, reconnect, and envision a collective future across the BCMN.

Network members: Please RSVP by April 17, 2026, to confirm attendance and support planning.

2023 Berklee City Music Network Summit

Held in Atlanta, Georgia, on January 20–22, 2023, the Berklee City Music Network Summit convened network students, teaching artists, and administrators for three days of reflection, reconnection, and shared learning, representing over 15 Berklee City Music Network sites. Together, participants explored practical tools and timely topics, ranging from release strategy and brand identity to operational budgeting, emerging tech, and digital collaboration, alongside community-building moments like jam sessions and networking.

The summit was shaped by a design team of students, educators, and administrators who spent the year prior listening across the network, surfacing shared concerns, and imagining solutions. The result was a gathering rooted in real needs and real relationships, strengthening cross-site connection and sparking new ideas that participants could bring back to their home communities.
