Berklee Global Jazz Institute brings Wayne Shorter to Berklee

Berklee Global Jazz Institute (BGJI) recently received an NEA grant to bring Wayne Shorter to campus. Berklee’s Global Jazz Institute for Humanity and Peace is a three-day event from April 25-27 that includes Shorter performing as a special guest at a concert at the Berklee Performance Center; presenting a free film screening at the Museum of Fine Arts, and teaching a free master class at the Boston Public Library. *** The All-Seeing Eye: Inside the Composer’s Studio with Wayne Shorter, Tuesday, April 26, 2-5 p.m., Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Remis Auditorium. *** Beyond the Sound Barrier: A Master Class with Wayne Shorter, Wednesday, April 27, 1-3 p.m, Boston Public Library, Rabb Lecture Hall, Copley Square. *** The Footprints of a Mysterious Traveler: BGJI First Anniversary Concert Celebrates Wayne Shorter.
