As an assistant professor of liberal arts, Katrina Jackson brings over 20 years of teaching and learning experience to the Berklee community. Her experience includes being a lead teacher, facilitating meetings, developing curriculum, and creating a culture and climate that enhances social and emotional wellness. A self-described MODEL (motivated, optimistic, determined, and educated leader), Jackson has a passion for being in the classroom facilitating teaching and learning, being on the runway, modeling for designers, and working with artists to bring their visions to life. She's driven by a desire to be a creative and a role model. She is a wife, a mother of four, a high school teacher for Boston Public Schools, an assistant professor at Berklee, and a strong independent Black women. She is her number one motivator, inspirer, and reason for making things happen. Her goal is to go beyond the limits and set a new norm for all women aspiring to be MODELs. She wants to show women that many things are possible if you believe in you.
