In Their Own Words

"I want students to come away from my classes and lessons with tools to navigate any musical situation with confidence and skills that will ensure their success in all future endeavors."

"Having trained in European classical music and built a professional career in performing and writing contemporary Indian and jazz fusion styles, my skill set is wide and I have a more fluid and open-minded approach to learning, teaching, and collaborating. Structure for the sake of compliance doesn't inspire success and so I take a less structured and more customized approach to each student or group of students I teach. I believe all students have the ability to thrive with the right guidance and inspiration, and I encourage rebellion and creative thinking when it comes to solving issues that they run into."
