The event is sponsored by Women in Music Boston and Berklee Women in Action. Established in 1985, Women in Music (WIM) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that seeks to educate, empower, and recognize women in the music industry. WIM operates more than 22 chapters with more than 100 volunteers around the world.
Berklee Women in Action is a student-run activist club that plans projects, fundraisers, and events. It strives to create a safe and open space to promote and empower women in college, the music industry, and beyond.
