Mar Giménez infuses her music with the vibrant essence of her Spanish heritage, serving as both the songwriter and producer behind her songs. Her journey in music was significantly propelled forward three years ago when she was honored with a presidential scholarship from the Latin Grammy Foundation and Julio Iglesias. This prestigious award covered her tuition and living expenses, allowing her to pursue a dual degree in sound engineering and contemporary writing and production at Berklee College of Music.

Her time at Berklee has been marked by numerous accolades, including the Robin Coxe-Yeldham Women in Audio Award Scholarship and the Division Piano Award. Giménez's education at Berklee has opened doors to collaborations with esteemed music professionals, such as Simone Torres, known for their work with Doja Cat and Beyoncé, further enriching her music career. In August 2024, Giménez will be relocating to Los Angeles to launch her career as a songwriter and producer in the Latin pop industry.
