The CJ Cultural Foundation and Global Initiatives are teaming up to host a new Global Connections Series event for our prospective students and musicians in Korea. Join us as Hae Joo Kim, assistant chair of the Professional Music Department, and Jonathan Perkins, assistant chair of the Songwriting Department, share their experiences and perspectives on the K-pop industry. Kim will share her insights into the K-pop global phenomenon, and Perkins will delve into the writing and production aspects of the genre. Attendees are encouraged to bring their questions to these two industry experts.
