George Carnes is a folk-rock singer and songwriter from Louisville, Kentucky. Having just graduated from Berklee College of Music, he plans move to Nashville soon to pursue session playing and music production.
As a solo performer, Carnes strips things down with acoustic arrangements of covers and originals. His music is an intersection of James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, and Chris Stapleton. Carnes’s raw voice and precise, dynamic guitar playing is known to lift spirits and captivate audiences, whether he’s in an Irish bar or an intimate listening room.
