Elliot Moss / Frances Cone
Elliot Moss is a 21-year-old multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer from New York. He has drawn comparisons to Bon Iver, Chet Faker, Washed Out, and James Blake with his soulful vocals, strong songwriting skills, and embrace of electronic, jazz, and ambient sounds. A member of the third generation in a family of musicians and artists, Moss released his debut album Highspeeds on Grand Jury this April 21. Recorded at his home studio, Moss performed, produced, and mixed the entire album with a few friends.
Frances Cone is an indie pop band consisting of Christina Cone, Andrew Doherty, Alex Baron, and Adam Melchor. The band's rich harmonies, electrifying guitar sound, and deliberate production make for some memorable recordings and a compelling live show. NPR Music featured the band as one of their overall highlights of SXSW 2017. "Arizona" is the first single from the band's forthcoming album Late Riser, due out later this year.
