Left Hand Bass Techniques for Pianists

Description

Students will study the construction of bass lines via basic line composition techniques, written examples, and transcriptions in order to develop a left hand bass line vocabulary. Walking bass lines with strong and consistent time are emphasized, as are comping and further development of hand independence for soloing.
