Treble Threat

Founded in 2014, Treble Threat was created to uplift women and non-binary members of the Berklee College of Music community by providing an immersive and empowering musical experience within an a cappella environment. With a supportive group dynamic within a professional atmosphere, the group encourages its members both to engage as musicians and arrangers and to develop their musicianship through the ever-changing lens of a cappella music. Treble Threat fosters personal, professional, and musical growth and also promotes collaboration both among its members and with the greater Berklee community.

Members believe in prioritizing personal well-being and making sure that members remember that they are human beings before they are anything else, including a club member. Parts of the rehearsal time are designated checking in with each other and make it well-known that the board members, and the members of the group, are always accessible as resources for one another. Previous club members have expressed that this group has fostered many new connections and lasting friendships as well as an outlet for relief from the stress-inducing college environment. Treble Threat in the Berklee community at large creates its own space for women and non-binary people to be present, seen, and heard.

You can stream the club's two singles called “Nice to Meet Ya” and “Woman Like Me” on all streaming platforms!

Auditions typically happen mid-September.
