Orientation and First-Year Experience

The orientation and first year experience team helps new students and families successfully transition to Berklee—academically, socially, and personally. We create programs and experiences that foster connection and belonging as students begin their Berklee journey. From orientation to ongoing first year events, our team is here to support students in finding their rhythm and building community from day one.

    TaLaya Clanton joined Berklee in August 2021. In her current role, she oversees and coordinates programming that supports students and families as they transition to become part of the Berklee community.

    Director of Orientation and First Year Experience

    Loren Glaser (she/her) has been at Berklee since February 2016. Her current role provides leadership to the orientation and first year experience team.
