This spring semester, we brought our community back to campus in the safest, most enriching way possible using a hybrid academic model that combines in-person learning with online coursework.
The hybrid approach has three guiding principles: (1) to provide you with a world-class education in music, dance, and theater; (2) to prioritize the on-campus experiences that are central to your artistic development and collaboration with your peers; and (3) to implement a balanced approach of in-person and online learning in an effort to keep our community safe and ensure your progress toward your personal, academic, and career goals. We also recognize that not everyone is able to get to Boston this semester; students around the globe are continuing to study entirely remotely.
In the challenging circumstances we have endured over the past year, the resonance of place and the vibrancy of our campus are clearer than ever before. Our campus provides a space for you to learn from renowned faculty and establish lifelong musical collaborations that extend well past your time at Berklee. This summer, we are emphasizing the important in-person experiences that will allow you to thrive at Berklee, combined with remote coursework that is well suited for the modality.
