Community Grant Criteria

Eligible Organizations

• Municipal Agencies
• Nonprofit Community-Based Organizations:
  • Boston-based or greater metropolitan area-based
  • Must not have received a grant the year before

Preference is given to:

• First-time applicants;
• Organizations with a mission that focuses on music or arts education;
• Organizations and/or events that further Berklee’s commitment to diversity and multiculturalism;
• Organizations with proven events planning success (including attendance) and/or a viable event promotion plan;
• Events that heighten Berklee’s commitment to public service; and
• Events that are produced in collaboration with a Berklee department and benefit the Berklee community.
